 The coastal scenery of the Roseland area is some of the prettiest in Cornwall, which you can enjoy on the coastal paths only less than 5 min. walk away.  Local large sandy beaches within two miles of the property; bathing is also possible in the cove of Portloe. The Ship Inn, a friendly local pub is in walking distance and the Luggar Hotel is open to non-residents for lunches and evening meals.

The fishing village of portloe is situated in the centre of a cluster of local villages and interesting beaches.  There is some amaxing wildlife to be seen locally, some outstanding geology around the coast, and some interesting local history to be discovered.

The famous Eden Project is only 25 mins away in St. Austell, and St. Mawes Castle only 15mins away, a ferry ride to Falmouth will take you pass Pendennis Castle.
